Venture Gold is focused on the redevelopment of the entire Idaho Springs/Central City mining District. The Company has spent 15 years studying the District, acquiring properties and obtaining numerous permits. Development of the District is dependent on the existence of a mill to process the ore.

Gold Resource Corporation currently processes all of the Arista underground mine ore through the flotation circuit at the Company's El Aguila mill. The plant was built near the mine site and consists of two separate production circuits: a differential flotation circuit (sulphide ores) and an agitated leach circuit (oxide ores).

Mill Sizing. The ore throughput rate of a mill is largely dependent on the mining production rate. Generally, it closely related to the mining rate of ore only. The goal is to have the mill operating with little to no downtime, without having to stockpile massive quantities of ore for a feed supply.
