Jun 18, 2017 · Paint can be applied as a solid, a gaseous suspension (aerosol) or a liquid. Techniques vary depending on the practical or artistic results desired. As a solid (usually used in industrial and automotive appliions), the paint is applied as a very fine powder, then baked at high temperature. This melts the powder and causes it to adhere (stick) to the surface.
The dispersion of a pigment in liquid coatings, paints or inks to produce stable suspension, can be divided into the following three processes: Mechanisms in the dispersion process Pigment wetting : All of the air and moisture is displaced from the surface and between the particles of the pigment aggregates and agglomerates (clusters) and is ...

Figure 4 shows the results for the liquid process. The values are much closer to the ideal line and the confidence range. In Table 3, the results are compared at the point of a dCS theo of zero. The difference between the upper and lower confidence interval is % for the dry process vs % for the liquid process.
paint process curing liquid paint After emerging from the paint coating booths, your product is conveyed through a flashoff area and into our 272foot long, fourstage gas powered convection oven. For proper cure of 70% fluoropolymer (Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000®) finishes the aluminum must reach a peak metal temperature (PMT) of 450 degrees ...
